Developing a deeper, actionable understanding of the patient experience requires more than surveys and reviews. It requires a commitment to centering patient voice and experience throughout the entire care model. Patient stories are a powerful way to understand these experiences and get more familiar with what healthcare consumers really feel about their experiences - and why. In this session, James will demonstrate how analyzing sentiment, values and needs in patient experience stories can provide deep insight into the key aspects of positive and negative experience, in a way that is both emotional and rational, through three mini-case studies: women's wellness needs, infusion patient experience, and caregiver-patient experiences.
